Sent the number a message just before, got a reply saying "the number is not currently active". Assuming they aren't running it :(

Yeah silence from Telstra over this. They did it for the Chinese New Year and the mobile number was different. Tried both and I get the same as you, with the new year one I get the message:
Sorry, the Lunar New Year Billboard is now closed.
So I figure it's still configured for this number but they've just not done anything.
Seems they're ignoring a post about it on their Facebook page too ( https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1015632068383931…).

Telstra have replied on that post saying they're giving it a break this year. It must be exhausted and needs to sleep?
