Ahead of the upcoming Samsung Unpacked event which any techie would know that the new line up will get an Infinity O design aka. the punch hole, I would like to conduct a bit of research and see which out of the notch or the punch hole an Ozbarginer would prefer. So place your votes on which cough stupid cough "innovation" you prefer.

Option 4: Under-screen camera.
You can't now because I've replied, but for future reference if a comment is still open for you to edit, if you delete the whole comment and try and submit an empty comment in the edit page, it'll give you an option to delete it yourself without needing a mod, so that it'll look something like:

The notch doesn't bother me and if it means we get a stereo speaker with it, then I think I'm going with the 2 time champion!
This is a thousand times better than both of them. But out of the two given choices, the notch looks far more ridiculous.
I like Face ID. Go notch!
I actually love the slide camera option. Gives you a bit more privacy and there's no notch as well, but the sliding mechanic will not last a long time and is prone to break anytime soon.
If a phone did that and put the headphone jack in, along with a good SoC, NFC and other stuff then that would be a dream phone for me. Unfortunately that won't be happening anytime soon.
Option 3: No front camera at all?
I don't do selfies, I don't video chat, I don't get spied on by '5 Eyes' so they wouldn't mind it being removed either.
