Thanks to Liddleone for drawing my attendtion to this deal. The View Restaurant in Freo sold 4000 vouchers. It wasn't even all that great of a deal. I almost didn't buy it. I was going to book when I was going to be in Freo for some other reason at sometime in the future.
They are not taking Scoopon bookings until 30 May at the earliest. I was able to book for a weekend night in June. I am now taking the name of people I book Scoopons with and putting it in my diary.

Hey All.
I went to the view tonight because mum was working yesterday and wanted to have dinner with me tonight. There was a cancellation and the lovely girl booked me in. This means that my spot on the June 9th is available a weekend night so if you have not booked please feel free to see if you can get this date before it is taken. Most weekends are booked out.
I went with my mum and sister. We aren't really wine drinkers and asked if we could get a few drinks instead of wine which was fine. Although at the end of the night we had $110 dollars taken off the bill and were charged for the drinks. But you know what the night was splendid!
We ordered the taste plate which consisted of Olives, Octopus (bit spicy for me), 4 slices of garlic bread, the yummy slices of chicken, rice balls, Sausage chizo or whatever they are called.

Pork belly with mash and veges - Mum
She loved it. I don't eat red meat and I haven't eaten pork in ages but I tried the tinies bit of crackle. Mum ate the entire thing.
Prawn and Crab pasta - She didn't realise it was a pasta but liked it. The plate was massive and she could not eat it all.
I ordered the seafood platter which had 4 oysters, a prawn cocktail, 2 peices of battered fish, fries, calamari. It could've been a meal for two.
We paid an extra $40 or so with 5 extra drinks and sparkling water. A different girl did the wine substitute. We still got $60 off the meal. They do steak night and prawn night during the week. My mum had a lovely time for Mothers day and that's all the matters to me. I asked Mum is she she was having dessert and she told me Not bloody likely because we were all that full.
I took pictures of our meals and will do a review on urban spoon when I get a chance but my phone doesn't take the best photos. Unfortunately I don't think I will be purchasing from scoopon in the future. My advice if you have one of these vouchers take a few people with you!

It's good to know that you had a good time and that they treated you well. Did you even try to get the drink tab reduced?
Nope we were told we could get a few different drink (soft drink x2 and an apple juice) instead of the wine but when it came to pay the difference we paid for all the drinks despite we didn't take the $30 wine but that's ok. The food was nice, service was nice and we saved $60. :)
A different person who arranged the drinks wasn't the same person who put it through at the end.I kept trying to give them the voucher and they weren't bothered. I had to remind her at the end to take it.
They can only take certain number of bookings a day. I am booked in for the 17th of June because I wanted a Friday night. She said if I have any problems to ring up and she will help me out. There is a booking for Monday the 30th May if anyone wants it. The view is only from 5.30-9.30pm. She was very helpful and has only been there a week :) The view keep her she's very helpful!!. I don't mind waiting to use the vouchers I mind that I can't use them at all.
