Here you can search for proper Qi certified products, including the Ravpower ones in the post

    Thanks op grabbed one.

  • Op - What wattage adapter is required for the charging mat and is the iphone XR supported?

    • +2

For the Charging Pad? Any 5W or above Charger.

It supports any Qi capable phone, including the iPhone XR

      • Will the charger work with the Pixel 3 XL?

        • +2

Yes, but Google won't allow it to charge above 5W.

  • +2

I'm a bit confused by the RAVPower RP-PB080 HyperAir 10W Wireless Portable Charger & 10400mAh Powerbank

Please do not plug your device in to charge and set the device down on the wireless charging top at the same time.

And yet at least one of the pictures appears to show exactly that ?!?

    • +1

Hey Mate, thanks for spotting I will pass it on to the SunValley Rep.

I think the wording could use a little bit of work as well.

      • +1

        And also, what about?

Wireless charging stops working at 0% battery

        vs

Please do not use wireless charging when battery drops below 25%

        • +1

I am going to write something for them and suggest they change it.

          • +1

            @xev: Thanks,

The first one would seem obvious anyway, since it would be hard to charge anything with 0% battery ;-)

But the second one is a bit of a concern if true…
Will it cause damage to the battery?
… and if so is there an auto cut-off?

            • +1

@oz-dave: As far as I am aware there is an Auto Cut-off but I have sent an email to the Rep asking for clarification.

              • @xev: Ok great, thanks xev, I will await the clarification / confirmation.

              • @xev: So do you think the rep will clarify?
The deal finishes in a few hours…

    • I did this with a cheap ebay charger and it fried the charger and melted/burnt a hole the plastic. Lucky it did not cause a fire or ruin my note 8.

  • To reach full efficiency, a 15W or higher QC 2.0 / 3.0 adapter is needed

Does this mean that this puts out 15W with the right adaptor? Where can this be purchased?

    • No, it will only output 10W but using a higher Watt adapter means it will always charge at the highest rate possible

      • Thanks, do you have any 15W chargers?

        • Not in Australia at present but I hope they will in the near future.

  • +3

Sorry OP but I refuse to buy products still sticking with a cheaper MicroUSB port. It just means that if you want to unplug and charge your phones by cable, you'll need an adaptor to do so. Blitzwolf has made a new design with C port, RAV should revise the design too.

Grabbed stand and pad last time, they work great. don't hesitate.

  • Hi Xev,

Can you please tell me the difference between the (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07K12B481) and the (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07JVHXV9C)?

And can you do a deal on them?

    (Congrats on 100 posts!)

    P.S using Galaxy S8

    • +1

Thanks, Mate. I really should have done a special sale to celebrate 100 posts, I might do it for 100 SunValley posts instead.

They will both charge your phone at the same rate. The first one you linked has vents to provide for better heat dissipation and the second, is a more slimline model and is not as high or wide as the first.

I don't have codes for those right now but I hope too within the next couple of weeks :)

  • are they working with XS max?

    • Yes, they will all work with the XS Max

      • thanks

My note 9 with samsung genuine case doesn't charge and red light blinks. It was ok at the first 2 months but now it charges the phone whenever it wants to.

    • Yup, same issue with this exact charger and a Samsung Note 8. With or without a case. It worked perfectly for a month or so, but now it's just a red blinking light whenever I try to use it. I've tried different cables, no luck. This is the third one I've gone through (the other two were different brands, all 'cheaper' chargers off ozbargain) and they all did the same thing, to within a few weeks of each other.

On the plus side, it's the most solid stand I've tried, and while it was actually working it was the best one I used.

      • You are fully covered under warranty, so send a message through to [email protected] and they will be happy to sort out any issue you are having. :)

  • Bought this Ravpower Stand one for my Samsung s9 last time it came as a deal. Very disappointed with slow charging. Take ages to charge

    • Send an email through to [email protected] and they will be happy to assist you :)

  • Can the portable wireless charger be charged and charge at the same time? Kind of like a UPS charger?

Thinking of always having the battery being charged in my cars “Phone Box” - so when the car is powered off, my phone keeps charging?

    • They don't recommend trying to Charge the powerbank while trying to wirelessly charge a phone at the same time.

It's also not recommended to leave any powerbank in a car, especially in the Australian summer. I looked into it as I wanted to leave my Dash Cam constantly running in my car using a powerbank so I didn't have to risk my car's battery running flat.

      • Great reply, thanks!

      • I understand it's not recommended to, but can it?

Most of the time I have no problem with only charging or discharging, but sometimes (such as in an airport and not many outlets available) it might be nice to have the ability to do so, even if it's not recommended to do so on a daily basis.

  • Do these wireless chargers work with pixel 3? No mention on the page…

    • If the regular Pixel 3 is the same as the XL as far as wireless charging, then OP mentioned further up that it’ll work.

    • Yes, but only to 5W. Google prevents the Pixel 3s from charging any faster.

  • Does this work with Apple AirPods?

  • Does this quickcharge with the v30?

    • From what I have just read, the LG V30 doesn't support Wireless fast charging.

It should charge up to 5W though

      • It apparently works with 15W although I don't think it's on the official published specs - there's a thread over on xda about it.

      • According to this, it should be up to 10w?

        • gsmarena are good at getting specifications wrong. The LG V30 only supports 15W fast charging and if the charger doesn't do 15W then it'll revert to 5W and not 10W or 7.5W.

  • Does the 10W one fast charge Lg V30+ ?

    • +1

      You'll be limited to 5W. You need a 15W charger :)

    • +1

The description claims that plugging your 15w QC power supply into this wireless charger will enable it to output 10 watt, which is what the V30 is supposed to accept as it's maximum(10.5w in the LG spec).

  • These items look great but I'm just wondering if Apple Watch charging is supported by these?

  • So the 5w will charge my s8 just as quick as the 10w?

    • No. The 5W will charge your S8 at half the speed of the 10W.

      • Sorry just confused as people are talking about phones being limited to 5w.

  • Hello REP
Does this unit come with the AC power adaptor

    • I bought one last time and it doesn’t. Just the usb cable.

  • Without looking closely, I just bought the below for my iPhone XS Max.
    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07KRWKT9W

Will it work? Probably charges at slower rate?
