Anyone know where the best place to buy the Xiaomi smart wifi plug (non Zigbee version) is at present? Something about the ebay sellers seem a big dodgy to me. Gearbest is out of stock. I need three, hopefully under 20 each.

That footprint is way bigger than the Xiaomi and would stick out to far for my use. Cheers though
Don't the xiaomi ones stick out even further as you need to use an adapter with them so you can access the switch? Unless you're using them with a socket board?
xiaomi ones like this comes as AU plug so adapter wont be necessary. Gearbest is selling for $14.28 plus postage.
@trex: Yes, I have a couple of these…it's actually a Chinese plug but fits Australian sockets albeit upside down. The problem though, is that it still blocks the switch, hence my comment about the adapter.
@ohagas: They do block the switch a little but isn't the idea that you use these for sockets that are out of the way? I mean turn switch on, put in the Xiaomi and then use the app to turn the switch on and off.

@ohagas: That's interesting. The Brilliant plug that I am using measures 5cm wide whereas Xiaomi is around 4cm. With Brilliant, I could still use the plug beside the outlet but maybe because the wider part of the body protrudes away from the outlet (like with using an adapter).

@Drj55: It shows original price of 19.99 but has discount of 29%. It does show out of stock in light grey
There seems to be a new plug called the upgraded or enhanced version with 2 USB ports. Maybe they are winding down the original non zigbee version and that's why it's not available? Hard to find out for sure whether the enhanced version is zigbee or not (I think not)

IMHO …do NOT go close to Gear Best …They are a "bunch of THIEVES & LIARS "Why so? My experience with Gearbest has been positive so far. I'm sure that there are also other Ozbargainers who continues to buy from Gearbest.
Are you just after xiaomi? I bought these Brilliant plugs for $19.98 and I was very impressed by it. Note that the USB is always on regardless of the status of the plug. Brilliant plugs have the smallest footprint that I've seen so far and won't obstruct the plug beside it.
