Issues Posting Amazon AU Reviews

Anyone else having no end of issues posting Amazon AU reviews?

I have been an "avid reviewer" since launch, was within the top few reviewers for a fair while, not so bad an achievement with all the existing kindle romance novel reviewers in place.

I was recently invited to be part of Amazon Vine and have received a few items to review, part of the Vine Program is you have to post a review within 30 days of receiving. 4/5 items I received and reviewed multiple times now the reviews will not be accepted (tried only twice so far, apparantly they can lock the item if too many attempts…). So I am going to I guess be removed from the program because I can't even review the items?

Since around October onward last year though I am having no end of issues getting reviews posted. My issues experienced:

  • Reviews constantly being declined or just never appear with no email accepting or denying.

  • Around 50 reviews removed

  • Reviews would show on my Amazon Profile but never the item

  • My reviews have no impact on the star rating of the item, if 5 star existing and I post 1 star it stays 5 or vice versa.

  • My reviews show last on every item.

Reviews I am posting are well within the community guidelines, most often pictures and even some video clips showing using the item or such. I have consulting some third party sites that give some guidance on blaklisted words or terms as well. I have contacted about 20 times I have documented as well as going as far as email head of Amazon AU, where got put to some "Executive" customer relations but in the end they even said just email community support who never answer back other than copy paste answers.

Are others having issues? Just me? Anyone got tips on getting this to work?

    I would just go on Amazon live chat and just ask them. I'm pretty sure they'd have a better idea than us.

      he did, they asked him if he'd posted on Ozbargin first

    • Yeah did that, different teams they always just escalate to the “community support” which is email contact only.

      • Can you ask for a supervisor when your chat comes on line (I don't know if you can but thought if you can it'd get you past the "auto response" wall perhaps)
