Where to Sell Used Car Bumper

Hi all,

I am a newbie to the forum but have been a regular user of Ozbargain for several years. I have bought front car bumper for my silver colour Toyota Camry 2006 ACV36 R Altise from a wrecker in Ballarat and never used. I am relocating to WA and my insurance company will replace the bumper under insurance claim.

I want to sell the bumper and had advertised on Gumtree but no response so far. I called up a few wreckers but they say they can only sell parts and not buy parts. Please can you advise where can I sell the used car bumper in Melbourne?

    Is there an opportunity for the insurance company to pay you out for the claim, and you arrange for the repair (using your already purchased bumper)?

      I have contacted the insurance company and waiting for their responce. I did not know of pay out option before. Thanks again.

    Bumpers are vehicle specific, so reaching a buyer with the same car isn't easy.
    I'd also list on eBay and findapart.com.au
    Could also try a Toyota forum?

    You'll probably only get back half what you paid the wrecker.

    Option 1: drop the price on gumtree
    Option 2: take it with you
    Option 3: suck it up and take it to the tip.
