Now even gaming tables are adjustable… When the fight gets too intense and you need to… Stand up?

    • This will help distinguish the dead gamers from the ones who are just taking a nap.

It's the equivalent of leaning forward when playing with controllers.

      • or tilting your head when playing racing games…

Now even gaming tables are adjustable

Well, this looks similar to and is priced around the same as adjustable desks you can get in Officeworks. Except the OW ones are electric with adjustable presets so you can quickly change from the perfect sitting height to the perfect standing height.

It's very nice being able to adjust the height for normal use even without standing up.

Unfortunately they don't play well with hinged monitor arms if they're attached. A distracting rocking motion is created where the arm bounces up and down.

      • I shopped around and went with the officeworks one - manually winding was going to be a pain so electric with memory settings was essential. Officeworks had others trumped on price vs max weight vs warranty period.

        • Does the Officeworks one wobble much?

I cringed a little seeing it being called a gaming desk but hey, if it helps you sell more desks then who am I to judge?
Not sure how I feel about the wheels, do they lock in place? Are they just plastic?

It feels like you're pricing the desk at a price point typically seen with electric driven models.
I suppose the gift card makes up for the pricing a little and guarantees more money spent with Mwave.

    Designed For Gaming

Really? Where's the RGB lights then?

It's just a normal height adjusting desk which is becoming more common in offices nowadays.

  • It seems like a nice deal that you get a $100 voucher, but I would recommend considering Ikea's Bekant: https://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/S09222577/

It's electronic and has no wheels (which might be preferable by some).

    • do you have this? your experience/feedback about it?

Would not recommend the bekant, i tried it out and the thing was wobbly as hell.

I found these ones really good, electric too https://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/S19282226/

Not sure about gaming but I have this one at work - https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/stilford-s… - It's brilliant, solid as a rock and it isn't loud when going up or down. I change my position a few times a day. I am looking to purchase one of these for my home office (work from home a bit also)

  • Whats wrong with your fixed standard desk and adjustable chair?

    • A sedentary lifestyle is detrimental to health, and studies have shown office workers are sitting at their desks for far too long. For this reason standing desks are in vogue and a height adjustable desk offers the flexibility of switching between positions.

OP, I don't think "FREE" means what you think it means

Great I was just in the market for a table to match my gaming carpet and gaming standing floor lamp

But have got the RGB gaming curtains?
