I had platronic backbeat for years which i really liked.
Just curious if anyone can recommend any other ones or they are still the best on to get in sub $100 range?
Main criteria is they need to have some support around ear so they dont fall off.
Bluetooth Wireless Headphone for Running

You can probably run, do a front flip and keep on running without the earphones falling off
Can someone please validate this for me … asking for a friend
Went out for a run last week on the pedestrian pavement at around 5AM. It's dark, and you know how bad some of these footpaths are. There was a 5cm offset in one of the section that's supposed to be flat. Anyway, I tripped over, in my own imagination I was doing a parkour roll, but in reality I just flipped over and lied flat on the ground. So I jumped up, checked for cuts and bruises, and then kept on running — all the while the music was still playing and I did not need to adjust the earphones at all.
Got a black toe though.
Thanks.
Can highly recommend the SoundPEATS Q30 Plus from Amazon. Unfortunately this deal is expired but still well worth it for $36

I've tried the JBL Reflect Mini 2's, the Jaybird X3s (hated them) and these are my favorite by far.
Thanks
Purchased a pair of these from ebay for $24 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTLmJWqZY1Q
They're on their way. will update if they're any good
I have something with a similar design (this iDOO one). The problems are:
- Cable is dangling & bouncing when you run.
- As the cable is pulling the front of the earpieces, the earpiece rolls forward and eventually pops off.
- The hook is not adjustable as it's moulded plastic, so you can't change it to suit your ears.
Doing gym? These are fine. Running at faster than moderate pace? Not.
I got these Anker headphones I wear at the gym and running. I beat them up a lot and they are quite durable. It stays in place and decent sound for the price. The bluetooth connection slightly cuts off every once in a while though but not enough to be annoying.

Jaybird X3 - Best earphones I've owned. Excellent fit and sound.
Plantronics back beat fit are great.
I've tried quite a few headphones over the years for running, and the only ones that really work for me is "Mpow Cheetach" and similar design, where the cable between the 2 ear pieces does not tangle but helps to "clamp" them onto your head. You can probably run, do a front flip and keep on running without the earphones falling off (not that I have tried).
