What flosser does everyone prefer? was looking at both the waterpik cordless and the Philips air flosser. I also want to get the Philips sonicare smart toothbrush. Or is it better to buy in a bundle pack that doesn't connect with the app like this https://www.shavershop.com.au/philips/sonicare-diamond-clean…
Air Flosser Vs WaterPik Cordless

The Philips Sonicare toothbrush is excellent. I have the one in the link, not the new version with the app which I think is more of a marketing gimmick.
I purchased a Waterpik from Costco and returned it shortly after. It's only good if you use it immediately following every meal, otherwise once the food has hardened in-between your teeth, the flosser isn't strong enough to remove it. I haven't used the Air Flosser but imagine it works similarly.
Philips have a money back guarantee, and the Waterpik can be returned if you aren't 100% satisfied (if purchased from Costco). I suggest you try all three products and return the items you don't like.
thanks for the advice. is the set in the link a good deal or should I wait to purchase?
Oh and Philips often have cashback promotions. So yes, combining a discount with a cashback promotion will get you a better price that this.
I think it's a good price for the two products if you need the items now. However, I have noticed Philips Sonicare products are heavily discounted around Mother's Day and Father's day (for obvious reasons). So perhaps wait for May 12th if you want a (potentially) better price.
I bought the bundle over a year ago in one of the prime sales, was either $2/300.
Toothbrush is fantastic, flosser is too much hassle so i never use it. Better to use a listerine ultraclean flosser (basically normal floss but with a handle so like a toothbrush) to be honest.
This seems a good price if you want both though.
water for me. the best.
I asked my dentist who said they pointless and I should properly floss my teeth.
I'm very curious why this was negged twice!
I use this https://oralbreeze.com/products/oral-irrigator. These (profanity) are strong since they use water pressure from your tap. Doubt any gum would be left when tap is on full blast.
Not really practical unless you have double basins as you'd have to keep taking it on and off when you want to use the tap normally. You would be able to control the pressure with the tap.
We have double basins… Did you buy this locally or just linking for reference?
Sorry for the old post dig. Been researching some flossers.
The waterpik is not really a replacement for floss; but I do find it makes my teeth feel cleaner after using it. You do have to be careful with them because they will spray a fair bit of water around if you aren't careful.
Be aware it is a bit messy to use. It sprays the water and it has to go somewhere, so you have to do it over the sink. Although you could do it in the shower, but not sure how waterproof it is..Does make your teeth feel clean. Not as good as gloss. I prefer The Braun rotating head type as I think it would clean better than phillips back and forth. Haven't used Phillips.
