Have wedding in Bali October 2019…..what would I expect to normally pay for airfare this time of year?
Probably only one way as plan to tack on other Asian destinations.
Are flight source sites like "Go TO Gate" & "Travel2Be" reputable companies or stick with more known ones?

Can't vouch for those sites explicitly but you need to be careful. Don't book thru them if you think you will change any flight details, you can be up for large change fees on top of additional fares. Those companies make a small amount on commission from selling the fares but their real mark-up comes from people changing their bookings.
Best to book direct thru the airline whenever possible.
Lots of horrible stories about gotogate so I'd say avoid. Having said that I booked with them last year (without understanding how they work) and had no problems. Was worried for a while though. But yeah as said if you need to change flight details (or even a name) it will cost you hugely. You also can't bypass and go directly with the airline as you're technically not the customer, gotogate is.
