Kogan's New Wi-Fi Mesh System

Hi,

Got an email from Kogan promoting their new product which is a AC1200 WiFi Mesh system.

The package includes 3 single units and is on pre-order now for $179 delivered.

Looked on the internet it seems to be the OEM of Tends Nova MW3. Has anyone had any experience with this system? For $179 this price is tempting for a 3 units Mesh system.

Comments please?

    why would you even consider kogan over the cheaper non kogan version which is the exact same without kogan slapped on it.

      Maybe I was too excited to see a budget mesh system (compared with Google WiFi and other big brands), totally forgot to search on eBay first.

      I think I know which one to go with now.

      Warranty under ACL? Manual and operation in English as opposed to Chinese.

        ACL would apply if you're buying from Shallothead, they are just a branch of KS Computers which you will know as Shopping Express and Futu_Online, they're not a minor store.

    This is now $99 + P&P
    Any feed back of quality? do you need to connect to router via Ethernet cable these units or are those to connect devices without WiFi to the network?

    Didn't buy it back then until today and waiting for delivery.

    Reviews from OzBarganers seem very positive - if made in China is not a concern to you.

    It looks like only the primary unit needs to be connected to a router and the satellites can connect to each other either through wifi or ethernet cable.
