Kogan Mobile 4G Speeds on iPhone 6 Plus

Hi All,

Afaik, the iPhone 6 Plus supports 4G Plus (4GX) etc.

My Oneplus 5T would show if the Kogan sim hopped onto a faster network.

However, Im tethering with my PC and I only get 1.3MBytes/s download speed (same as my Spintel hammered down 4G broadband service which offers 12Mbits/s ie 1.3MB/s).

How do I get faster speeds? Or does Kogan only offer max of 12Mbits/s?

    Kogan speeds go much faster 12Mbps.

    I'm on the edge of Band 3 at home and have been able to get just under 50Mbps, (real usage rather than speed tests).

    Does your iPhone support all the Vodafone bands?

      Is there any way to confirm speeds? I entered the field test mode and it too was connected to band 3.

    Not an Apple person so can't help you there.

    A well seeded torrent would be my suggestion.

        Maybe try downloading a torrent on your phone?

        At least it would rule out the tether.

    I have experienced up to 64Mbps with Kogan in my cheap Android phone in some locations, so it supports definitely more than 12Mbps

    I just finished a month on Kogan with an iphone 6. Speed tests alway had less than 1Mpbs, no matter where in Launceston I was.
    Now I'm with Optus and getting up to 10Mpbs
