Witcher Enhanced Edition PC $8 from GAME

120

Pretty good game. I didn't finish it because I find RPGs a bit tiring but it has great reviews.
Note that the 'enhanced edition' isn't the collector's edition. The differences are on wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Witcher_(video_game)#Enhanced_Edition

From the wiki (about the enhanced version)

corrected dialogues in translated versions, improved stability, redesigned inventory system and load times reduced by roughly 80%.[29][30][31] In addition all bugs are said to be fixed and the game manual completely overhauled.

Haven't they ever heard of releasing a patch?

    • They did, the enhanced edition patch came free for all owners of the Witcher.
This is a boxed copy version of the game + enhancements bundled.

  • Heads up: It's also available at this price from EB Games. (At least it is in WA, should be in bargain bins all over Australia though).

Oh and it is a good RPG. If you liked Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, you'll like this.

  • Great game and Witcher 2 will be out within the month!

  • excellent friggen game i paid $25 for collector edition most atmospheric and enjoyable rpg i have ever played

    • I liked Dragons Age much better. Just couldn't get into Witcher.

      • I'm with you but I know a few people who prefered the witcher (citing it's what dragon age should have been)

      • I did not like that one as much. witcher is a better world and sucks you in so much more.
