Saw it on the screens in EB today, and can confirm a few games as being $10 or more.

Of course, EB have done this type of deals a few times already. RDR2 was the most recent one from memory.
Obviously, you cannot get trade in value credits AND the game at $29. However, the two games you trade in (assuming each one is worth $10 or more) will both be bumped up in trade-in value so everything adds up to the total price of the game ($99) - though for RDR2, EB threw in a price match item so each game traded in was only worth $25 each. You get EB carrots based on the bumped up trade in value (double the final adjusted trade in price since you get 2X carrots for trading in games) and you will still get carrots for the game purchase - price is $99 so you will also get 99 carrots as well.
The aim obviously is to trade in two games that's as close to $10 as possible.
Note that the trade-in value for each game is $0 when trading for the deal. You don't get both the trade-in credit and the discounted new game
There’s people that actually think that they’re getting a new release game for $29 PLUS the trade in credit for two games? Are these the same kind of people that Western Union transfer money to the ATO so that they don’t have warrants issued for their arrest for tax evasion?
The Division 2 is $69 preorder at Amazon AU, so if your trading make sure the value is less than $40.
Also the AMD Rewards Raise Your Game promotion has The Division 2 as one of their games. There are plenty of people on reddit who are selling the access codes.
dont you need the same AMD card in your PC to use it? if not i might go buy a code
The process is weird, you need the card into register for your AMD rewards account thing, then after that you won't need it again. However you don't get a steam key, you need to link your steam to amd rewards so what people have been doing if they sell is to team viewer with the buyer to make sure they activate.

With Ubisoft titles usually dropping relatively quickly in value …i'm going to hold out for a price drop.
A week ago I picked up Assassin's Creed Odyssey for under $25. It came out less than 4 months ago.
It would be nice to see a list of some kind for the games that can meet the criteria when trading. Its supposed to be 700 titles eligible.
There's currently a similar promo, but with Far Cry New Dawn (with Steelbook) for $1.

My kids loved Stardew so much that I bought it digitally for $15. We can family share it on the two Xboxs and no more juggling dics for them.
Ah I see. Well we kept one copy at least. I traded the other Stardew into Eb, they called me 20 mins later and said the disc wasn't in it. It was brand new sealed from Target. Seems Target botched it and just threw only the CD in, and in my other copy they just threw the game disc in. Gotta head back to Target and sort them out. What a pain, especially since that Target is not close. Hard to find good help these days huh.
I can confirm Ghost Recon Wildlands on PS4 is one you can trade for this deal, it was the only game I had worth trading so I picked another up off FB marketplace for a tenner and traded them both in.

Walks into cashies - finds a bunch of games under $10 that were trading for that or above at eb….. spend $30 on 4x games.
Went and traded in to get far cry for $1 and $29 for mk12.
On the one side awesome, on the bad side….. saw what they're charging for the games i've just traded in, they're sticking each game on the shelf for $38-52… each.
So out of me gaming the system they've just made nearly $200 of sales out of it…
No matter whether your getting stuffed over on games that are worth more on gumtree, or playing the system the house always wins it seems.
That's how pawn shops work from the dawn of time, and EB Games is no different.

Thanks for posting, I probably would have missed this deal otherwise. Traded in two $10 Amazon specials, so a $49 outlay for The Division 2 Washington Edition is awesome. I can’t remember the last time I traded in games to EB, slightly nostalgic.
