I was wondering what the cheapest way to get microsoft office is. Its been installed on my computer but have not used it and find the normal liscencing fees pretty expensive.

Just remember that for the price, you are probably (most certainly) buying something illegal.
The worst that could happen would be that it stops working after a few months, and you would need to repeat the process of buying a new account all over again.Also, just to point out that if you have any school-aged kids (just guessing), each of your child is entitled to a free copy of Office.

Fortunately Microsoft prefer to audit companies with VL 😉
You can get a 365 subscription for $10 a month to install on up to 5 devices and you get a 1tb one drive cloud space which is a pretty good deal to backup your files
Cheapest legal way to get Office (that I know of) is to check whether your work is part of the Home Use Program (HUP):
