but dr say avoid any dramatic change to diet.
I think that's the biggest thing you need to change.
I generally wouldn't trust doctors when it comes to nutrition. They know what they're told to know.
Are you overweight?
Google Dr. Jason Fung and watch some of his youtube videos
Thanks. Dr Jason seems interesting read. I have never heard of him before. Will lookup his videos in next few days.
chronic kidney disease
dialysis
Fixed. I rely too much on autocorrect these days.
If you're not on dialysis then you would not be looking for a kidney donor.
You don't need to be on dialysis before getting a kidney transplant.
What is your age?
How Old Were You When You Discovered That Cows Don't "Give" Milk?
Discovered at 27, 4 years ago. That they were dying.
How did it happen?
Strangely don’t have 100 percent confirmed diagnosis but drs believe it’s reflux causing kidney scarring. But reflex is slow or random that they can’t test to confirm.
As in, gastric reflux? Man thats f'ed!
No it would be kidney reflux.
Hi Lender, extremely sorry to hear about your illness. Wishing you all the very best and speedy recovery! :)
Thanks.
Why do members start an AMA then disappear off the face of the earth. This op may have an excuse so just a general observation.
I second Scab's motion, TightBottom you need to do an AMA!
Already did one a few years back
Was hoping you weren't going to post that…
Sorry to hear about your illness. I too wish you can find a donor.
