We've been fortunate enough to receive a $300 wet n wild gift card, and I was wondering how best to use it. We are locals, so although I would consider this deal at Sea World - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/432639, I'd rather put it towards an annual pass like this https://themeparks.com.au/buy/tickets/locals-one-pass which is $149 per person. I can't see any difference in price for kids or adults, so I gather it's all the same price. So firstly - I'm not even sure if I can use it for either of those deals, or whether I have to use it just for wet'n'wild. But assuming we can, we'd still have to pay for a few more passes to cover the whole family, so would add up. Does anyone know if any deals are likely to pop up around the end of financial year? I know a few years ago they had buy 3 get 1 free, but not sure if they have done that for a while.

Yes Brisbane - sorry. I've never been there during winter, but in theory the water is heated, unless there is a cold wind it wouldn't be too bad??
Ahh, that is where I got confused. Here in Sydney, it's 'Seasonal' not annual so Wet N' Wild is not open during winter etc, mostly summer.
In this case, it wouldn't be a problem. It just means if you purchase today, or next week, the pass will run out this time next year with 1 month left of summer, so if you're not going to use it immediately than maybe hold off a little so you can enjoy the entire summer next year? :)
My onion would be
No one is interested in your onion.
Village Roadshow Theme Parks in general have moved away from their previous discount model of the past. Don’t expect buy 3 get 1 free ect. The current offers have been more “bonus value” a $50 animal adventure voucher with your pass. These have been targeted eg. previous pass holders, Brisbane roar members.
As far as I am aware all VRTP gift cards are generic/can be used at any park. Note to get the online price you will need to call the call centre to process your gift card as ticket prices are $10 more at the gate.
You are local to Wet N Wild in Brisbane, just to clarify since there is one in Sydney.
My onion would be wait till next year if you were to claim the seasonal passes. There is one month left of summer for 2019, you'll get three months if you use it next year.
