Free SMS (with API)

Does anyone use those free SMS websites anymore (the ones that have an ad at the end of your messages)

I'm looking for recommendations on any site which does this and has an API I can use. I'm only sending messages to my own mobile so I don't care about the ads. In fact I really only need around 10 characters on each message so the size of the ad makes no difference to me.

I'm currently looking through my Google search results but wondering if anyone has any recommendations.

      Do they have an API? I can't find anything about an API on their website.

    I use SMSGlobal and it's API for sending messages. Still going through the 200+ free sms credits.

    I use their emailtosms function to reply to messages on my phone.
