Hi guys sorry about this but how does one go about getting JB to price match a AU Amazon deal?
Do I just go in store, showing the website on my phone and be like can you price match this? and if they turn me down is there anyway I can push it?
I think I might have less chance if I called and asked them

Most 'bricks and mortar' stores won't price match with an online store - they can't compete because the online store doesn't have to pay rent, bills, staff payroll, etc etc…

Last time I heard JB has a policy not to price match Amazon AU and they claim Amazon stock/electronics are grey imports. So good luck trying!

If they say yes your sweet, if they say no thank them for their time and buy from amazon. Amazons cs is top notch, i wouldnt hesitate to buy it from them.

Given that they advertise that they will “enthusiastically price match” competitors prices provided certain conditions are met, I’d say it is pretty close to a right.
Exactly. JB Hi-Fi are the ones advertising this fact to get customers through the door. It's therefore the customers right to expect them to abide by their advertised policies.

Don’t timidly ask or start a negotiation, but just confidently say that you’ve come to use their advertised PriceMatch.
Prepare in advance a print out of the stated conditions (Australian site, same product, in stock etc) along with your evidence that all of them are met. Take your phone open at the final step of the purchase from Amazon for confirmation.
Act as though this is a routine transaction for you, and you’re just helping the salesperson out by collating all the required evidence for them.
I bought a Switch Pro Controller from JB last week, asked them to price match Amazon — they had no issue with it.
May depend on price difference etc. Was only $10 in my case.

Little known fact that JB hifi does have an actual price match policy. I went in to buy a PS4 game they said no they do not match amazon prices. I showed them their own web page with their own policy and all it says for an online store is that it needs to include delivery fee. Game was over $50 so delivery was included with amazon. Had to wait a few minutes for the manager to come to the front and override the price but walked away with the same price as amazon and didnt need to wait 2 days for delivery.
I find telling them their resistance to price match will be met with fire and fury seems to work.
