Need Advice on Best Men's Concealer

Hi OzBarginers, may I ask you guys what are the best choices of men's concealer to buy right now?

As a guy who hasn't really used any makeups so far, this will be my first time trying it out. I've been having a few breakouts recently and some under-skin red marks because of it. But I hope I can fix a little bit just for an upcoming date, therefore the question.

First post here. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I know it's bit of a weird ask, but can we talk about the actual products rather than why/why not men should use some basic level cosmetics?

fake confidence, cuz you know deep down under the make up you still fugly.

      • Say that to your wife

      • Out of interest, isn’t wearing makeup the same as wearing a nice shirt? Or getting a nice haircut? Or shaving? Why is someone buying a nice shirt to wear any different to someone wearing makeup?

  • men are wearing make up these days? tf

Whats it to you what other people do and wear?

Does it harm you in some way? Get over it. Yes men wear makeup, men also dress up as ladies (thailand)

Who gives a crap? If someone wants to cover up some flaws they have then let them.

Firstly OP ignore all the people who are trying to blast you for wearing makeup. Nothing wrong with men wearing it. These people are the ones who probably voted against gay marriage and are insecure about their sexuality.

Secondly, I would suggest you go to a makeup store such as Sephora and ask for advice. Each product is different and you need to know what works for your skin tone.

Popular choices are BECCA or CoverFX.

Also, make sure you test the concealer on your neck and not your hand as your skin tone is completely different in these areas.

As someone who has suffered with bad skin I know the pain

  • I would recommend for you to go to Mecca and ask them what kind of concealer they would recommend in terms of shade, skin type etc and the girls will help you choose for free.

Otherwise, if it's too daunting to go into mecca or sephora, then while you're buying groceries at coles or woolworths, check out Maybelline Fit Me or Rimmel Wake me Up concealers.

There's also testers at Chemist Warehouse if you want to try some on the, jaw line, neck or face.

  • Revlon PhotoReady Concealer. Looks like a tube of skin-colored lipstick. Contains zinc oxide to help block the sun so that age spots don't get darker. Several shades available. In the women's makeup department, but obviously can be used by anyone.

    • Haha

  • I use Garnier BB cream SPF 15 - oil free & non-comedogenic available in FAIR or MEDIUM tints.Covers spots & breakouts on nose, chin or forehead etc. Often discounted by 50% at Chemist Warehouse & Priceline chain stores etc

  • OP has stopped responding and I think the OP has enough answers mixed in with dipshit comments. Comments closed.
