          I haven't square to spare!

  • Hey TA does the order have to be collected today or can it be later this week? Ta!

    • +2

Important thing is you order today… delivery or collection can be any time.

What if i order meat to the value of $50, then the price is adjusted to under $50 because is weight is under the estimate?

Jesus Binners, could you think of a more nebulous question to ask?

      • +5

Wtf? It’s a great question, I buy lots of non pantry items and given coles regularly make adjustments it’s a completely fair question

    • I’d love to know also, TA?

    • This situation would likely void cashback. Buy a little more to cover any foreseeable adjustment and don't decline substitutes, just in case.

    • happened to me with Woolies, there was a few out of stock and it fell below the target amount and I didnt get cashback. Best to order slightly more.

  • Hi TA, can I use gift card to place the order?
    Thankyou

    • +1

I don't think it is an (available) option on Coles online.

  • Liquor part of the deal?
    Slab of Furphy for $50 - $18 = $32.

  • Noooooooooo….. I took the $16 deal…

    • +13

Soz man, you got severely ripped.

    • Rest in pieces.

How do you know that I'm a new customer?
I just created an account. Now can I click in via cashrewards and make a purchase, or should I have clicked in first before creating the account?

    • good question

    • Yeah I want to know totoo

Is minimum spend $50 or $100?

    • +1

Please note a minimum $50 spend

      ?!?

      • +13

A P Plater on literacy too it seems.

      • Sorry, got a bit confused with the click10 code that applies to $100 spend.

  • is cashback payable on alcohol?

    • +2

Yes, there's also Cashrewards on any drink driving fines or gaol time.

  • Thanks TA. Is it eligible for click and collect as well or is it just for delievered orders

    • +2

      100%. Either is fine.

  • +2

I'm going to ask what several people must be wondering..if I've already received the $16 cashback and I make a new Coles online account and place an order, will I still get cashback?

    • Moved!

    • I got a same question and the term states "Creation of multiple accounts with Coles Online will void eligibility for rewards."

So creating another Coles online account for this deal not working?

      • What if my dad creates a Coles account (he's never been a member) but uses my CR?

        • +1

Please see the CR terms. Your account is your account. It’s not to be used by anyone else :)

          • @tightarse: How bout my wife

            • +1

@cowiie: Just apply another new CR account and coles account under your wife name. You refer your wife and both of you get $5 =)

  • Is coles online same prices as in store? Never shopped online with them.

    • +5

Staple items are the same, other items are about 8-10% more.

      • Wow, I get negged for helping someone.

  • I opened an anline account but never ordered online. Am I eligible for this Cashback?

    • Me too, wanting to know the answer as well!

    • I think "new customer" = "first online order" on that account.

  • I bought some items over $80 online yesterday with an account i have opened, say last year, but not made any purchases before. I still qualify for the $16 cashback, right??

    • Same question here. I have an account for over a year but never used, wonder if I will be qualified for this offer??

  • Info on delivery costs from Coles website - Delivery costs can vary depending on location, time of day and length of delivery window chosen. Generally most metro delivery fees range between $4 and $18. If you have signed up and are logged in you can view delivery fees and times for your area.

  • does cashback work on alcohol? it say on the website Cashback may not be paid on alcohol & tobacco purchases.

  • Got my cart ready but need to know, does Coopers Birrell Ultra Light count as 'alcohol' and therefore would be an excluded item? It is available on the supermarket shelf in the drinks aisle.

    • Just seen that is does get classed as liquor even tho it's only 0.5% and available as a grocery item. Oh well, no sale.

  • Added three 30 can cases of coke no sugar to the cart, but once I signed up the price went from $51.66 to $67.50…assume it's because of postcode differences, but initially looked like it was to make up for the cash reward

  • I just placed an order for $53 worth of items with pick-up tomorrow, I assumed you don't need to add a "promo code" at checkout so hope that works. Thanks

  • Did anyone get the usual cashrewards tracking email yet?
I ordered $50+, new account etc… no email yet from cash rewards.

    • +1

It's not instant. Takes up to 4 hours for Coles.

      • Cool thanks for confirming..

I asked this, as i logged in / clicked through on cash rewards site onto Coles.
Signed up (took about 1 min to enter details)
Then started shopping by adding to cart (around 15 mins)
Then checked out, picked pick up point etc etc.
So really I was sitting on the site for close to 20mins before I actually checked out / paid etc.

        • +1

          Update…. Got the tracking email!

      • I ordered yesterday at 20h30 and it's not tracked yet - should I wait the 7 days before logging a ticket, or do it ASAP?

  • the page goes in loop where it ask for your contact details. you enter your details and press CONTINUE and same page appears. i tried on chrome incognito multiple times. then switched to firefox (no addons of any kind) and same thing. cleared firefox cache and then tried again but same thing. first time shoppoing on coles online and this . totally disappointed.

  • just now tried with microsoft edge and same results.

    • Worked fine for me. Maybe it has an issue with your contact details?

      • +4

Are you saying Gary isn't honest?

  • Tried to go to the app and coles link and keep getting to the confirmation page and cannot proceed to the next stage(payment page) after entering my contact details.

  • So.. I've just made an order now, but payment isn't taken until order is collected tomorrow.

Will this be an issue getting cashback if they don't take payment until tomorrow?

    • +2

All good. Cashback is based on order time and date, just like it is for postpaid hotels etc.

      • +1

        Thanks for that 😊👍

  • +1

If I order $100 worth, do I get both the $10 off and $18 cash back?

    • +1

If you’re referring to CLICK10, then yes.

    • +1

I just did and got both the $10 for buying over a $100 with a new account and $18 tracked already by CR.

  • What if you need to return anything causing the total to fall below $50?

    • +1

This term applies to all stores on CR:

You won’t earn Cashback if an order is cancelled, changed or returned.

      • I got one item not available and alrernative not available.

I hope it wont affect the cash back.

        • yeah same but when I went in-store to collect, there was a substitute item available..

          • @spiderpig: Coles click and xollect is in store? Not at car park? You substitue or they?

            • @SnoozeAndLose: Yes, collected in-store. Received an email saying item not available and no substitute either. Went in store and found a substitute item (penne pasta) so just paid extra for it. Fyi originally purchased spiral pasta, same brand and everything.

  • +2

This cash back is getting less temptting with coles price adjustments, out of stock and for me, $3 click and collect fee plus cost of bags (no mention of how many they will use).

    • +1

Yeah, the click and collect fee and bag fee were a great surprise at the end of the order. Can't say I would have started an order knowing about those fees.

      • How much was your order total? My order was $106 - 10 (CLICK10) = $96 and there was no mention of a click and collect fee on the invoice. Also, the bag cost should be no surprise as it is no different to the instore policy. You have the option to take your bags, boxes, containers with you and transfer the items into those at pick-up with no charge.

        • +1

My total was $53, the bag charge was annoying because they didn't allow me to select no bags. I can understand the charge if I wanted the bags.

I think it's because despite there being 10 Coles stores all within 15 min drive, I only had the option of picking it up from Coles Express stations (funnily enough the one I'm picking up from is in car park of a Coles store). Just a disappointing experience from my perspective.

    • Thanks, I was going to start an order but not after seeing a $3 C&C fee. Screw that.

      • I just hope they don’t remove or adjust more than $3 worth or else I won’t get cash back. Fingers crossed.

        But never again coles

        • Hope it works out for you. That was too fine a margin over the minimum to be confident though.

          • @jdr: It did not, they removed over $10 worth of goods. I’m really sad now

          • @jdr: Ironically the $10 difference is because the person who bagged the goods didn’t scan it properly and under charged me $10, but because of his/her mistake I miss out on the cash back.

Sigh, it almost seems too cruel.

But as others said, charged for 3 bags and didn’t even get 3 bags, add on pick up fee, won’t bother with coles again.

  • +1

Finally ordered, purchased at 9:10PM and got tracking at 9:21PM, hope everything goes smoothly, thanks TA!

  • +2

Did a $110 order before cut off time but forgot to use the code. So unworthy, dobbing myself in. Still happy enough with the $18 cashback (hopefully).

  • Ordered last night at 11 pm but it's not been tracked yet unfortunately.

It's a pick up order for tomorrow. Is it going to be tracked once my order has been picked up and paid?

    • I have the same problem. Hopefully it tracks after collection.

      • I have collected my order but it hasn't been tracked yet

  • The order tracked in an hour(or even faster since I only checked after an hour) so cashrewards was stellar.
Unfortunately my local coles is at a shopping centre so there designated a specific click and collect zone in the car park so it took me 15 minutes to find that. Then it took another 25 minutes for them to bring the actual groceries to said click and collect zone. So while I initially thought the savings were worth it when I bought from Coles online now I don't think I'll ever use the service again. Woolworths click and collect just let's me walk into the store and pick up my groceries. It's so much faster and I can even return my old shopping bags to pay for the new ones. Oh no, the positive text is so much shorter than the negative!

Maybe I'll stop being a stingy and just pay for deliver next time. That way I can complain about how the delivery is late or how roughly they threw my groceries on my porch.

  • @tightarse

    Hi Store Rep,

I have made an order of over $50 dollars, then today they said one of the item is out of stock. The order will end up below $50 slightly ($49.39).

Could you please confirm cashback will still be valid?

    Thanks.

  • +1

Picked up my Coles order at a click and collect petrol station.
Some items were bagged, some weren't for some reason (even though they charged me for 3 x bags and only used 1).
Surprisingly a found a free jar of coffee in the bag (which was on the receipt as a gift).
    Still good I suppose!

Ps. I love when you order say 500gm of chicken breast and you end up with 700gm lol.. i assume its the same with fruit & veg?

    • Coles adjust prices to match the actual goods received. So they initially look like they charge you 500gr but if you receive 700gr they will charge you 700gr.

      That’s my coles experience

      • Woolworths just charge for what you ordered when they give you more.

      • I got more than I ordered without paying extra (approx 100-200g per meat item) which was pretty awesome, not sure why they didn't charge extra

        • -1

they should not charge extra as that was not the contract.

          • +1

@Yola: Contract says prices are estimates…

  • Hi OP. How do I make sure that my order goes through as a new customer. I created an account yesterday but haven't ordered with it yet. Can I click in through cashrewards, order on this account and get the first order cashback?
    Cheers.

    • First Order/New Customer can only be determined by Coles. As long as you meet their conditions, you will be ok. Please note this however:

Creation of multiple accounts with Coles Online will void eligibility for rewards.

  • Hopefully they do another $16 or so for $50
