Looking at getting a book from amazon but delivery is $15, do people just pay the $6.99 monthly fee for prime and cancel instead of paying the delivery fee? Even if this is the only item I buy its far cheaper to just pay 1 month subscription each time I want something

I'm just worried if I get the annual sub I will end up buying every single amazon deal posted here to try get my moneys worth and that could be bad
could be bad? We are looking at Amazon Prime and you aren't wrong there with that concern.
Just get the membership for:
- June (EOFY)
- July (Prime Day)
- November (Black Friday)
- December (Xmas, Boxing Day, New Year)
Those are the only periods you will see proper deals.
Noted but since Im going to be buying something anyway shouldn't I just get a month now? Or is there some fee im missing where it wont just be $6.99 for 1 month
I think you get free delivery on most items as long as your cart value is $49 or above. If you dont have that cart value or if the item(s) are not eligible then I guess the fee for a month is acceptable. Make the most of it if possible by using amazon music and prime video during the month.
Oh and there is no other hidden fee
don't forget twitch prime as well!
Even if this is the only item I buy its far cheaper to just pay 1 month subscription each time I want something
ok then do it. simple math, don't understand the need for a thread?
Have a great day!
Thanks, I am!
Nice answer. Don't feed the trolls.
I find the additional free prime video and 1 twitch subscription helps me feel like it's worth the money. Too bad I don't get kindle unlimited too. Not sure how eBay plus is gonna compete apart from having a hefty voucher for new subs
1 year sub here,with previous Amex promo…
Definitely had my money's worth so far just from Amazon credit due to order issues (lost orders, delayed/no stock orders)
