  If you've got a euro car with a remote mounted battery, beware. I found the included clamps simply too short to reach both 'jump terminals' under my bonnet. They do not have longer clamps available :/

      Yeah that seems to be my only option. Unfortunately it means that the whole assembly doesn't fit into my glove box any more :( This was supposed to be an alternative to jumper cables dammit!

      Also joining jumper cables reduces their current carrying capacity somewhat, although its probably fine for my purposes.

          @Ti-au: I don't want jumper cables bouncing around my boot. The box doesn't fit under my seat (I've tried).

          I bought this because it was supposed to be neater and smaller than the box of jumper cables.
