Replacing Incandescent 240V 15W E14 Edison Fridge/Freezer Bulbs with LED type.

If the lid of our box freezer falls shut, its incandescent bulb breaks. They're only $1 from ebay for a no name brand, or $6 for 2x Philips at Bunnings: www.bunnings.com.au/philips-15w-e14-pilot-globe-2-pack_p4340… - but it's annoying that they keep breaking. I saw LED types on ebay. e.g. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/253919005343 @ 1x for $5, 4x for $14. Does anyone know if LEDs are more robust, or will they break as well?

    LED will be fine and more robust to banging of the lid.

    LEDs are definitely more robust, but they might interfere with the electronics because of the way they act. My fridge, for instance, uses the bulb as sort of a fuse. LED isn't suitable in that situation.
