Scientifically tested to be a shoe. And a crappy shoe at that. From what I've seen with previous shoes, okay for general use, pottering around the garden but won't be appropriate for intensive sport, long distance running etc. Most likely lead to Achilles or arch issues.
These look nice for the price.

I wonder if this label is like the baby 'jogger' pram where you read the fine print and it says "not suitable for jogging'
I've got there from last year. These runners are light but I'm not very fond of them.
I bought the other pair that went on sale last year and they are much better.
Are they good for walking?
Yes. I use them as normal shoes, not for running.

Looks good for $20. I assume you can return if you don't like them.
I got these last time, for the price they're acceptable and definitely better than similar priced from say Kmart if you just need something cheap you don't care about. However the sole is pretty soft and if you step on a small rock or piece of Lego you'll feel it, might not hurt but not pleasant.
I wouldn't buy these for running or bush walking, good driving shoes though.
I use a pair on the treadmill / cycle in the in the hotel fitness rooms … Good for travel as they are light weight. And they are fine for light duty city CBD walking / exploring if you have a few hours free in a new city (especially when travelling hand luggage only you want to have as many bits of clothing that are 'multi-role' so you have to compromise a bit). I would't be using them for trail running. But they would be fine for fast walking around your local bitumen path in the park as an example.
