Hi,
Would like some recommendations of a good restaurant to have dinner on Chinese New Year’s Eve around Central, Wan Chai or Causeway Bay.
Doesn’t have to be traditional Chinese food.
Budget: $100-200 AUD per head
Note: I eat a lot :)

I think you're on the wrong website, that's like a months worth of food for me.
100-200 hamburgers
If it’s good enough for the POTUS and the winning footy team, it’s good enough for you and your guests
Isn’t this website OzRich where average wealth of members is 100k plus?
Yeh, but we're rich by being penny pinchers.
Spending more than $10 on a meal is blasphemy on Ozbargain.
I suggest the likes of Cafe de Coral or Fairwood, your guests will be spoilt for choice.
Just go to Michelin star restaurant.
Tim Ho Wan is good
Tim ho Wan is over rated and has giant lines. Yes the pork buns are incredible but the rest is overpriced compared to other places in Hk.
Dim Dim sum is as good and cheaper.
personally i’d go for Din tai fung.
Lung King Heen if you can still get a reservation in such short notice. Been there numerous times and never failed the impress but depending on what you're ordering, you can easily exceed the $200/pax budget.
