Hi all. Back to school soon and my eldest needs new sneakers with laces. Can anyone recommend good bang for buck sneakers for my child? Preference is under $50 and they last at least two terms as they will be worn everyday.
What Are Good Bang for Buck Kids Shoes?

We got school black joggers Skechers last year and the soles were terrible. Made of some sort of foam which wore completely smooth after a single term - even for my 14kg tiny preppie. So just be careful, I don't think it is all of them (we've had some great Skechers in the past) but these were a complete waste of money and put me off the brand completely.
We bought a pair of Sketchers from the DFO for our son who was in need of some sneakers. He wanted to wear them straight away, ran outside the shop, pivoted and went straight to the ground. The sole on these are absolutely terrible for kids. Luckily the store took them back as faulty
Aldi one is good enough, kids foot grow too fast
Even though temptation is to buy cheap, feet are very important. So saving short term, might do more damage than the little saving. Better to buy from factory outlets or when on special if can and save that way, than buying poor quality cheap footwear that offer little cushioning or comfort.
Just received an email from Groupon. Seems adidas has a sale on and free shipping. Might be something there for you.

Hi, can't seem to get the EXTRA20 code to work on sale shoes. Is it only on full price shoes?
It is meant to be also sale items. Here is the link.

I bought a pair of black Nike Airforce Ones for my daughter's school shoes and she pretty much out grew them. I think I got them on sale for around $80 online. You might find them cheap.
Thanks for the tips guys. Unfortunately factory outlet and ALDI are not options for me in Tassie.
catch can have some bargains also fila
We get New Balance when they're on sale.
Sketchers are good, more than $50 - but will last longer than 2 terms.
