  • does any store price match with amazon?

  • First few comments on Amazon don't look too good…

    • Considering how good I have found their customer service, I think if you received a dodgy one you would get a refund or replacement pretty quickly.

  • that review was from August 2017, amazon.com
    keeping my fingers crossed!

  • I bought two from Amazon AU in early December for $37.95 each and they we legit versions, the two games that I'd bought from an eBay powerseller for the same price were fakes though. The eBay games were returned and refunded after I lodged it with eBay since the seller stopped responding to my messages.

    • did see some ebay deals that looked too good to be true
      then saw the reviews

makes me wonder, if people have complained about a particular seller on ebay how do they still continue selling fake board games?

      • I thought that ebay makes you destroy fakes and not send them back.

        • I had to return the game in order to get my refund.

  • Ticket to Ride Europe and Catan are the two most counterfeit produced games!
I will say almost any price below $45 are all counterfeits.

Got a fair share of counterfeits from eBay now a days, and Amazon AU is slowly getting it too!
The positive is that both eBay and Amazon has a zero-tolerance policy on counterfeits.

  • So how do you tell if they’re fakes or not?

That’s the second time I’ve missed on this deal. I hope they get more.

    • If they're amazon prime they should be legit.. can anyone confirm this ? There must be some sort of screening that goes on before amazon grants a seller prime status.

    • So how do you tell if they’re fakes or not?

if it looks too good to be true….

      eg https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p233452…

most of these sellers are based in Australia apparently

you get clues from the negative comments I suppose
