        Tightarse, I am having the same issue with Sim pre-activated, and after logging into the Amaysim dashboard, I have no message about needing to verify my identity.

        Hi TA, I paid with credit card and when I logged into my amaysim yesterday, there's no message about verifying identity at all. So, SIM was already activated on the day I paid, not after I received.

        • I had to verify my identify when I first created by account, but no subsequent identity verifications requested..

  • Activated my SIM card and now it says “22 days remaining” I thought it was meant to be a 28 day sim?

      MY sim cards too came pre-activated… very strange

      • Quite normal for Amaysim - lots of comments in previous deals.

        SIMs used to be sent out with sticker showing SIM was already activated. Do they still show that?

        Ordering to port number ensures it is not activated. Often recommended in these deals. Handy for those with SIMs with no credit but still active. That's what I do.

  • I was one of those who was met with an error on the payment page, then I did not receive a CR tracking. I then used online chat to cancel the order. This was successful and $10 was refunded to me. But I still received the SIM card that's attached to this closed account in the mail.. together with the second order which did not have n error message, which had a tracking email from CR. Not quite sure what to do with the first SIM…

    I just spoke with live chat because my sim was preactivated, and they said it was all good and active. Sims cant be activated without the ID check first they said, and they said mine was all good. So I hope that means I'm eligible for the CR still. I don't mind missing a few days on the plan.

  • Got an error message and was redirected to the amaysim homepage when I completed the payment but transaction went through okay and received a confirmation email so I assumed it would work out. Amaysim is listed in my clock history but no transaction tracked yet.
    Did not see that it was a common issue and would require cancelling and resubmitting…
    Is there a way to get it investigated still?

      Please log into your 'my amaysim' account. If your SIM is active and not requesting verification, you're good to go :)

  • I received my sim today as well and already activated. only 21 days left. what a waste.. cashrewards didn't track my record and raised the ticket. it says it takes up to 14 days. hope this doesn't impact my cashback…:(

        "thanks for waiting , upon checking sim card was posted 16-01-2019 and usually it take 2-7 days for sim card delivery . If sim card failed to be delivered today . I suggest to get a $2 sim card and we will credit the $2."

        just worry if i get the $2 sim from a wollies and activate it will my cashback still work?

          Please see note 8 in the OP, as these conditions were provide by amaysim. I have no idea why they told you that. Can you please log into your 'my amaysim' and check to see if the SIM is active. If it is, your Cashback will be approved as long as you don't change SIMs.

          • @tightarse: morning TA, if that's the case i wouldn't grab a new sim as i don't need the sim, just want the cashback to work.

            Sorry to trouble you but where can i see on the mainpage that the sim is active?

            i'm not going to use the sim so if the above indicates the sim is active then i really don't need the sim to arrive as long as the cashback will be approved.

            • @obsid: If it says 20 days left, it seems the SIM is active, and has been so for 8 days.

              • @tightarse: cool, thanks TA, so i've met the below 3 requirements then, although i've never received the sim (I'm not using it)… it's active (purchased the sim on the 16th so 8 days sounds right)

    Purchased on 15/1 with PayPal, requested new number, tracking email received in 1 hour, SIM received after 3 working days.
    Entered ID now, got 28 days. Easy👍

  • My SIM arrived the day after the promotion ended, so I couldn't activate it in time :(

  • I purchased one of these on 15 Jan. Activated SIM on 31 Jan. But still cannot see Cashrewards tracked my purchase.
    Anyone having the same issue?

    my cashback changed status to declined.
    I have followed the steps in the post, and sim activated before due date.

    I think the problem was when I made the purchase, I ordered one sim, Amaysim charged me twice.
    I have since live chat Amaysim and got refund for the duplicate charge.

    Not sure if this contributed to the decline. Can you please help?
    I have also reported on cashrewards website. Thanks.
