I was in the process of getting some of those free iphone apps when I noticed my account was down about $14 - not too much but I had $20 and I rarely pay for anything. I looked into it and saw a an app had been downloaded on april 14 (free) and in app purchases with it on april 15 (12.99) from Lakoo, even though I have in app purchases turned off. Its called 帝國 Online. Also another app called Pimp your screen for 1.19. I am not sure how this happened as I have a good password. Just letting other know to check your accounts. There seem to be others out there that this has happened to.

I've noticed a freebie (some farm game) that I obtained also required some form of "add-on pack" which cost money. Somehow I purchased it and didn't notice at the time.
Change your password to something more complex like { 3d5t8k0; }. It minimises the chance of being hacked.
Bloody hell Xanth, you've just guessed mine…now I've gotta change my password! :p
why the hell is that password so common
Xanth you're a paasword magnet!
changing mine as well!EDIT: I use lastpass
I had a similar issue with 4 apps purchased. I did provide my itunes pw via skype IM, so perhaps that was the way they got in.
Apple kindly refunded the app purchases but then insisted on blocking the itunes account until I could verify who I was and change the pw.
have you contacted iTunes about it
pretty sure they could see that your computer wasn't used to login to your account
