Hi all
Looking at the Melbourne airport website doesn’t provide a great deal of information.
I’ve used long term parking, so pretty straight forward.
But what is the difference between regular terminal 4 parking and premium terminal 4 parking?
Hi all

3rd party parking is the OzBargain way. Cheap and easy.
The first hour in premium is $25. It's close to terminal and you get to park next to really expensive cars. I parked next to an RS6 Avant Performance and opposite a 997 turbo in manual the other day. It's like going to a car show for $13 extra. Awesome.
At T4?
Yes. Though premium at T4 is on level 1. You still need to get the lift down a level. There is also a pay machine in the premium section so you don't need to queue up to pay with all the Toyota owners.
Maybe my assumptions are wrong but it feels like there is a smaller chance of damage parking at the premium section from opening doors etc.
@popcornready: Most definitely. More pride in their cars in the premium section for sure. I'm certain you can find a safe spot in the furtherest corner of normal parking though.
How easy is it to find the premium section of T4?
Is it clearly marked?
Yes it is very clearly marked.
Is it just me but over the past 12 months or so theyve dropped the price by about 50% for short stay.
I rememebe it used to be like $22 for an hour or two.
Last time i paid like $9 for 1 hr
Yes you are correct, the price of short term parking has dropped over recent months.
Premium is close to the entrance, on the same floor as entrance with lots of space.
Also there are other options, 3rd party parking which takes you to the Airport by bus, for example A1 airport parking.
