Ive been looking for 5-6 seater lounge/ dining set and the number of websites selling them is crazy, ranging from $300-$3000
I know you pay for what you get but with all the dubious savings off RRP it's hard to know what's decent.

You are right, it's either too cheap or too expensive. Wish they have some mid-range….
Often I go to Display Homes or Open House, love the outdoor furniture they have.
But the standard answer I get was, I have no idea, it was done by the Marketing/Blah-blah Department.
Or, it came from overseas!

Outdoor furniture is stupidly expensive, and looks like garbage after exposure to the elements very quickly.
It is one of my most hated purchases because it offers such bad value.
If it was just me (as opposed to my partner's preferences too), I would either buy the really cheap stuff, and get a new set every couple of years, or seek out people moving overseas on Gumtree/classifieds and buy secondhand.
