I like how Dan has 700ml for $35.99 and 1L for $35.95
Just go to Dan's for price beat guarantee
Sometimes its not worth it when they beat it by 10c.
You can use any saved up Woolies rewatds money and earn Woolies points at BWS, which can't do at DMs.
(Using 5% gift cards at both.)
If you know someone with a Woolies staff card, you can save a further 5% at BWS.
Don't need comparison prices in the title.
Edit: Mods have fixed
$70 for Glenlivet 12 is also pretty good
$85 at Dan's but I'm sure it was a bit more than that previously
https://bws.com.au/product/93651/the-glenlivet-12-year-old-s…
Glenlivet 12 used to go on sale for 50 or 60 before they bought in their rubbish imaged stuff.
Not worth $70 though, definitely not worth $85
I was in Paris recently at their supermarket, Carrefour. They had 1L of this on special for 9€…
You're on a big dusty isolated island
With a relatively high tax on alcohol.
and everything else as well
@Plug: And people that buy it and drink it as there is no tomorrow regardless of price …
16.6 std drinks for $35 = 2.10
700ml Absolut vodka 22 std drinks for $40 = 1.81
1L smirnoff - 30 drinks for $52 = 1.7
Unless you specifically like malibu, its not a great deal per drink
Little fat lamb: $8 for 7.9 standards = 1.01 (can get cheaper at the Premix King etc.)
I don't know anyone who buys Malibu (or Smirnoff for that matter) to get pissed cheaply. Plenty of cheaper rums and vodka.
tbh i'm thinking of equivalent drinks from the same demographic that would drink malibu.
hahaha if you're just tryna get smashed you make a valid point
mmmmm tbh i think it's more about an "equivalent" drink. If you're trying to get smashed, there are other options that would be around 40c/drink or less.
Yeah every one should buy goon amirite. 4L goon sack 30 standard drinks for 9 bucks = smashing (0.3 if you want math)
It's a coconut liquer, whereas Malibu is sold as a coconut flavoured RUM.
I haven't noticed the difference in flavour, but haven't tried both side-by-side. No complaints from others, either.

I soooooo wish Malibu Black was available in Australia. Only ever been able to buy it at Duty-free.
Yuck, no thanks, what else you got?
700ml bottles are almost always on sale for $25 somewhere or other. So $35 is the right price for 1l
