For only $1 a day, you can experience the beauty of Darwin Harbour, the outback history in Alice Springs or the spirit of Ayers Rock, and return to select locations in South Australia, South Queensland, New South Wales or Victoria.

Offer available for collection from Avis Darwin Airport, Darwin Downtown, Alice Springs Airport, Alice Springs Downtown and Ayers Rock branches only.
Return to select locations in South Australia, South Queensland, New South Wales or Victoria.
Offer applies to rentals commencing before 28 February 2019.
$1 per day applies to the base daily rate only.
Optional extras, fees and taxes are additional.
Collections in Darwin: Minimum rental period of 5 days applies. Maximum rental period of 10 days applies.
Collections in Alice Springs/Ayers Rock: Minimum rental period of 3 days applies. Maximum rental period of 10 days applies.
A kilometre allowance of 800 kilometres per day applies (kilometres thereafter will be charged at $0.33AUD per kilometre).
Offer applies to car groups: C, D, E, P, S & K only.
No one way fee is applicable.
Offer is subject to availability.
Renter must meet age, driver's licence and credit card requirements.
A standard underage surcharge applies to all drivers aged 21 to 25.
Drivers under the age of 25 can only rent car groups C or D.

    Darwin Airport to Adelaide Airport, over 6 days is $6.93 !

    17 hours driving from Uluru to Adelaide here

    Pretty sure you could drive more than 1.7hrs/day…

    You could keep it and drive around Adelaide for another week @ $1/day

  Found the deal on all their cars (not vans) for Alice to Melbourne, just the flights are too much to get there!
