Steam: Rockstar Weekend - Grand Theft Auto Games on Sale

420

As part of the Rockstar Weekend Sale on Steam, the Grand Theft Auto Classics Pack is available on the US Steam site.

But for whatever the reasoning, we in AUS cant get Vice City so we cant buy that package for US$7.49

Don't miss out on this sale though… we can still pick up GTA 3 and GTA: San Andreas at 75% off!

GTA 3 for US$2.49

GTA: San Andreas for US$3.74

Also if you were really keen for GTA 1 & 2, you can pick them up here from the Rockstar website for free.

So you can get your hands on 4 Grand Theft Auto games for the tiny sum of US$6.23
(and don't forget… it will be a tad less in AUD :P)

I'm pretty much getting San Andreas just cause Samuel L. Jackson is in it.
That guy is in EVERYTHING…

Don't miss out… this offer should end early into tomorrow morning (Monday 18/4)

Great way to spend a lazy sunday… hitting people with cars, stealing their cash and hangin out with prostitutes^

Enjoy :P

  • Got San Andreas, cheers.

    • No problem… I noticed it and was kinda shocked no-one else had posted it…

      • Well to be honest I got it before this was posted hah

No Vice City makes me sad. Dam region restrictions.

    Bought GTA3+San Andreas anyway.

  • +2

    Awesome, played everything but GTAIII.

Shame about Vice City - that was one of the best imho.

    • Agreed. Vice City was epic…

  • Which one is better of these 2?

    • +4

San Andreas for sure. GTA3 was brilliant for it's day, but SA seems 'richer'…people who play it will know what I mean

  • Cheers :)

  • As if not buy it James Woods. Man that guy is a genius!

  • Lots of bugs in GTA 3, just a warning.
I'm a GTA fan but I couldn't handle all the little annoyances they didn't fix from the bad port.
Only ended up somewhere in the 2nd island before I stopped.

  • GTA 1&2 are available free from rockstar http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/

    • As mentioned in the post… :P

Needs more Vice City :( That's the only one I'm actually interested in

Am I the only one thinking that we should start doing some GTA2 online deathmatches?

  • Has anyone got San Andreas working with Windows 7 64-bit? The retail version worked fine but the Steam version doesn't run at all. Tried the 'fix' on http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2090811… but still nothing. I can see the Steam 'Launching game…." pop-up and the process running in task manager but the game doesn't start at all.

    • Works fine for me.. just played it then.. tho, wow.. its showing its age.. lol

      • Lol it was showing it's age when it first came out on the PS2.

  • Is there a workaround to get Vice City?

    • Have a friend in the U.S. buy it and gift it to your account. Then you reimburse them. So far the only way I know how.

  • I actually enjoyed San Andreas because of all the gangsta rappers in it :)

  • Can you install Steam games more than once, say on my laptop and on my PC?

    • +1

Yes. But you can only be logged into Steam on one at a time, unless you put them in offline mode.

  • +2

GTA 4 + DLC is on sale now!

    • why didn't I wait? :/

  • Damn, I so wish I knew about this..

if anyone bought this as a gift, and is happy to sell it, please let me know :)
