Was looking for a V8 Absolute deal and came across this, not too bad considering the V6 Animal is currently on sale at BigW for $349.
From what I've read the V7 has an improved bin-emptying mechanism and slightly longer running time.
This is the international version though so you will need an adapter.

P/s: do let me know if you see any V8 Absolute deal, ta!
Missed the $599 plus AMEX at Harvey a few weeks back, current cheapest is $569 at Tobydeals but I'm rather skeptical about the site.

  Dang, got the BigW v6 one this morning, would have preferred the v7…

  Then again it looks like the Guarantee/Warranty is lost or at least sketchy on a Grey import, if that's what this is;

      Amazon doesn't provide the warranty. i was previously considering in a previous deal and opted out, it appears to be a grey area. what I could work out was you ship item back to Amazon in Aus warehouse. they ship it back to Amazon US whom then submit it to Dyson on your behalf.

      No info on what happens after that…

      I bought a LG from Bing Lee instead. Reviews and rep say LG has better suction (everyone is entitled to their opinion).

  Get it. We bought one last year at $439 and never looked back. Though running time is not much longer than the V6, the bin is indeed much better. At this price, we might just get another one… though more likely we will wait for the v8 to come down to this price range next year.
