    A bottle? 60$? Bushshah

Its really good - it keeps water cold for 24 hours and hot water 12 hours. I havent used it for hot water yet. But i can vouch for cold water :)

      • +6

Pretty much all double walled insulated bottles do that… I bought a Sistema one, does the same thing exactly, cost like 12 bucks or something on sale.

        • +3

$10 for sistema at Coles on sale, I bought one yesterday

      • Aldi has one for $6.99

    • +2

Keeps water cool for 24 hours and beverages hot for 12 hours. Great quality and designs, not too bad if you ask me…

      • yup thats right :)

Great bottles, only problem is that you have to cool the water beforehand as due to the vacuum technology, it won't cool inside the bottle. Although it's great, I've just resorted to using Mount Franklin water bottles with cold spring water, buy in bulk from Woolworths/Coles when on sale.

Wtf is wrong with you, honestly? Why would you buy something that comes out of your tap, and in the process creates a whole lot of waste?

      • Yea probably just use a tap. Cool it and transfer to water bottle.
        Save the plastic waste!

        • +1

          Lol “vacuum technology”

      • +2

Tap water tastes like shit, at least where I am.

        • So? It's water, it does the job. The water at my work tastes pretty average, but it's water… you drink it so you don't die… good water isn't 'delicious' it's just not bad. I don't see how that justifies ridiculous, superfluous plastic consumption.

          • @[Deactivated]:

you drink it so you don't die

By this logic I hope you don't ever drink anything else.

            • @HighAndDry: I occasionally drink other things, but water makes up a vast majority. The same logic doesn't apply to other beverages as they aren't necessary and they don't come out of at least two taps in your house.

              • @[Deactivated]:

The same logic doesn't apply to other beverages as they aren't necessary

Why not? You just conceded they're not necessary at all, and also come out of 'ridiculous, superfluous plastic' bottles too.

Do you drink those beverages for taste perhaps, or just enjoyment? Others can drink bottled water for the same reason, not just to survive.

                • @HighAndDry: ??? I never said I get them out of plastic bottles.

It's pretty much just coffee or water for me, very occasionally an on tap beverage if I'm out. No waste involved.

                  • @[Deactivated]:

                    No waste involved.

Granted, maybe very little plastic waste, but coffee/ on tap beverages takes petrol and other resources to produce, transport, market and sell too.

                    • @HighAndDry: Yeah but so does literally everything you consume. It's about practical minimisation of waste, not becoming an ascetic.

                      • @[Deactivated]: Fair enough, but every person has their own views on where the line between "practical minimisation" and "being an ascetic" lies, and for some, bottled water might well be on "ok" side.

                        • +1

@HighAndDry: That may be true, but I don't think there is a reasonable argument for stating that buying bulk Mt Franklins on sale as your main water consumption strategy falls anywhere near "practical minimisation"…

        • Nobles water is the best purist water I've tasted.

        • you could always filter and create less waste

    Aldi $6.99
    -Stainless steel
    -Double wall insulated
    -500ml capacity
-Will keep drinks hot for up to 12 hours and cold for up to 24 hours

    • +1

just bought one. Aldi one is 500ml as well & steel. Myer bottle has a brand name S'well with S'wollen pricetag.

    • We have a number of different "brand name" bottles. Picked up 2 from Aldi yesterday - physically they seem fine and little different from our others - likely the best value to be had.

  • +7

A real ozbarginer would get the Kmart knock off for $7. Before you say they don't work, mine has sat in the car on a 40 degree day and the water is still cold.

  • +1

I bet you they all use the same manufacturer.

  • -1

This is not a bargain, you can get these cheaper from everywhere from Kmart to Aldi. The only difference is that it has the 's'well' branding.

    • +6

It would be considered a bargain if you wanted this exact bottle though. I highly doubly Kmart ones are made to the same standard. Don’t really think this is a valid reason to neg the deal.

      • Thanks dear :)

        Exactly what I would've said :)

2x Contigo for $16.99 at Costco northlakes ATM (pink/purple only).

    • Oh wow .. thats not a bad looking bottle.. omg and so cheap too!!

I think Swell is getting discontinued in Myer.

    • Google "Mirage vacuum bottle".

These are a generic bottle that are sold in bulk for custom branding.

  • RRP $60 gooooo Myer ! 😂

Picked up 12 for $90 at office works just before Christmas. Was perfect for office presents

  • I returned two of these as they were faulty. Won’t buy again.

    • Oh noo.. Did they leak?

      • No I didn’t drop them and I cleaned them correctly but I put boiling water in them and the bottles would heat so the insulation wasn’t working properly. Might have just been extremely unlucky. It was also a few years ago.

  • I bought the same one last week for $35…

    Really? Wow…

Sparkling Champagne colour also $25 on Amazon
    Plenty of others $25

At that price it's still not exactly a bargain. If I charge $200 for an item, when it's only really worth $50 and post a deal for $60 it's a lot of the RRP but not a bargain. Not sure who would pay $60 for a S'well brand on their drink bottle lol.

  • I love the colour - there's no other brand with a similar colour. I really wanted to get this one when it was full price but couldn't justify the $50/$60 price, so I went with a cheaper one from Myer (linked by willyroo), but it isn't what I was after. The Oasis bottle smells quite strongly of metal after a few weeks…I don't know if this would be any different, but the colour is awesome.
