I'm thinking of buying takeaway for dinner tonight. What are good deals from fast food mainly? (KFC, Dominos, Mccas, etc)
What Are Good Tuesday Dinner Deals?

They are all a rip off really, and not good for you. I prefer to go to Coles/Woolies and buy their clearance specials. You can get fresh pizzas for less than $3 each, ready made meals, sandwiches, potato bakes, salads and all sorts of things marked down really low. They sometimes do this around lunchtime as well which is handy.
You can also buy those fresh pizzas on clearance sale and freeze them for a rainy day!
Cook some chicken and chorizo Paella with fresh lime. Maybe $10 for dinner and 4 serves of lunch
how do you know the rice is cooked ?
Use couscous. Once the stock starts to boil, remove from heat and add the couscous and put a lid on. Once the stock is absorbed (a couple minutes) you're all done
when does the chicken goes in ?
@dcep: sorry, this is ozbargain not ozrecipes
Thanks guys, we cook our meals so we know how to save when shopping for food. But today we are just both(me wife) tired and don't have the time to go shopping and cook, that's why I'm looking for fast food deals.

Some local pubs have cheap steak nights or whatever.
+1 on this can’t beat a good $13 parmi.
Damn auto correct.
Think you meant to write 'parma'Googled
What is a parmi?
Chicken parmigiana, or chicken parmesan (Italian Pollo alla parmigiana) (also referred to colloquially in the United States as 'chicken parm' and in Australia as a 'parmy', 'parmi' or 'parma'), is a popular Italian-American dish.
KFC 9 for $9.95, Dominos BOGOF, Burger project BOGOF, well depends on where you are.
I kinda rate the Chicken Treat 9 for $9.95 daily Crunchified chicken. It doesn't make you feel as gluggy as KFC and reheats better
instant noodle
My local fish n chip shop has a burger with the lot, bag of chips and can of drink for $8.50.
Better value and taste can always be found at your local fish n chip or charcoal chicken venue
That is so cheap. You must live in the middle of nowhere!
Do a spag bol, healthier and cheaper than take out
Agree with that. We freeze pasta sauce then I use my Philips pasta maker to make fresh pasta. Good meal because the pasta maker doesn't require much effort and you make two days worth at a time.
Check eatclub the app. I've found a few good deals and can add an extra 20% off with coupon ADELAIDE which worked in Melbourne last week puzzlingly haha.
Thanks for the tip- will try applying it tomorrow (Melb)!
LAUNCH still works as well
Adelaide doesn’t work anymore in Melbourne- app detects the restaurant location when trying to finalise the booking. Will try launch today.
I'd recommend my favourite but I usually have it on Wednesdays, sorry.
A weird tip that a friend told me; if you Google "pizza hut" the first add that comes up is a discount for dominos (sneaky dominos).
At the time I was told, the discount was 50%, just tried it then and it was 30%.My advice though is don't eat either of the above as they are horrible…
So where are you? I am blessed with a nearby Italian restaurant in Kealba (VIC) called Marinelli's which does big pizzas of many types for $7 Mon to Thu. They are bigger and a thousand times nicer than almost anything from Domino's.
Eatclub app will have a range of restaurants doing between 25 and 50% off as on the spot deals, and most do takeaway.
Dimmi now rebranded as the fork is good for bookings the day before (or early on the day of), no takeaway.
Between these two, I rarely eat junk anymore.
A true Oz Bargainer would be throwing a Dr Oetker pizza in the oven!
