      I bought it on release day and have only played a couple of hours. I'm sure it's probably a good game but it's very different to the first which IMO (as someone who has not played a lot of JRPGs) played a lot like Pokemon but with better graphics. Completely different combat system in the 2nd.

    I just started playing this on Steam and it's a good game so far. I don't think it's the best recent RPG but it's far from a disappointment or bad game. If anything it's probably just that physical game sales are down in favour of digital downloads and steelbook editions etc. just aren't as attractive as they used to be.

    I stopped buying games about midway through this year. Most of the games even at a great discount will likely be half that price by the time im ready to play them.
