Laptop Recommendation ?

Hey all.
My old laptop is incredibly slow and I'm needing one by febuary when I begin my studies. Im looking at a budget of $600. I'm not going to use it for anything other than study and Microsoft word etc
Anyone have any recommendations for the best yet cheapest laptop ?

    If you are going to use the laptop for study, I would be looking for something light with an 128gb SSD or bigger. This will speed up loading program or starting up your computer.
