Picked up a pair of these yesterday and can only be purchased online. Deliver was only $5 (metro ViC).
Reviews have been favorable and cheapest I have been able to find without discounts.

I got the R1280DB last week which is similar to the R1280T in the video.wow, thanks for the video. Razer is out of the picture, the difference is day and night!

So at higher volumes the speakers limit the gain on low frequencies to prevent bass distortion? I get that approach when enclosure size is limited for portability, but these speakers take up a comparable amount of space on a desk to speakers with larger enclosures
