    • Thanks! Updated

Backpack drops to under the $50 for free shipping. Adding another "cheap" item gets it back over the $50 so you aren't wasting $5.95 on shipping. If you think about it, you can have a $50 pencil case for $4! Who is paying rrp $50 for a pencil case?

    • 25 years ago I had a Qs pencil case made from hemp, price would probably be equivalent in today's money.

Seems really good. I just wonder if it is too big for uni…

    • +1

I've used this exact backpack before. It's very big. However, I have seen a few around uni.

This one hasn't got as good back padding as the other ($99.99) one in my opinion - so if you see that one discounted it's better. Still a good price for this though.

Thank you for your opinion. It'd better for me to stay away from the big one. I'm already chubby :D

Awesome, got it for 38 delivered - used shipster, the code above, plus had a 10% anniversary reward option appear in checkout.

    • $42.80 delivered for me since no reward. Still a decent price though.

  • just in time. the zip on my bag is buggered.

  • I have had 2 of these, first one got in 2006, second in 2014 and I am still using it for my work commute (IT). I have always had the camo colours but might be time for a change.

    • Any degree of waterproofing on it? doesn't seem like it from the link.

      • +1

Nah but it's fairly good, stuff inside is usually dry but outside gets wet in a light shower.

      • +1

There's no "waterproofing" as such, but I've had stuff in there when it's been bucketing down and none of the water has got inside (ie nothing inside is wet)

As previously stated, the bag gets wet in the rain (lol).

  • This is a good backpack that is still going strong after several years of use. Lots of pockets. All zippers still work perfectly. Recommend.

  • Grab a Jansport Big Student (34L).
