Does Anyone Know Where I Can Get a PS TV or PS Vita for a Good Price?

I've been looking at getting either a PS TV or Vita as there are a fair number games that I want to play (namely jrpgs) but both are expensive second hand on ebay, the cheapest I managed to find is the PS TV on sale at EB games for $68 but they are out of stock. If anyone can point me in the direction of finding either of these consoles hopefully under $70 I would greatly appreciate it.

  • is used ok?

    • Yup, I don't mind if it is used.

  • +2

Try gumtree or EB Games for the Vita. Got mine last year for about $129 from memory.

    • Everywhere I've been looking has the PS Vita for $150+ (with no games, some sellers don't even include a memory card) which is why I am thinking of getting the PS TV but I can't find it anywhere.

      • I have an OLED Vita with memory card and dragons crown that I was going to put up on eBay for $160

      • PSTV's are highly sought after by collectors, so its no surprise that you're running into issues finding one, and if you do, you may need to pay as much as, if not more than a standard Vita.

The price of the console is gonna shoot up more and more also as the modding and hacking scene opens up the firmware more it will drive pricing in the 2nd hand market.

Bonus: Ironically the vertical stand for the PSTV console costs almost as much as a PSTV.

      • I believe I have a PSTV immaculate in the box and a stand and I have a inbox ;)

  • Am the same - barring Atlus (well maybe not just them but they're the main factor that I want to get one) starting to port their older catalogue to current generation platforms which seems unlikely. If after OP gets one, someone else is selling, I'd like to put my hand up.

  • If you happen to find yourself in Japan, you will always get a well preserved 2nd hand electronic goods at good prices, otherwise ebay, gumtree, facebook marketplace. Also gaming groups on Facebook are a good source, but i use them more for imports and retro collecting, you can get good trades/deals sometimes, but requires alot of leg work that most are not wanting to put into for basic devices that are not extremely hard to get.

Those are just my recommendations domestically at least as a collector.
