Am just out of contract with Optus and wont be looking to upgrade my phone as the current plans are just to expensive for me since Virgin has left the market. So just looking to go on a month to month post paid deal. What is the best value plan on the market at the moment? Have my wife on the 9.99 jeene plan which seems fine. They have a unlimited calls and 8 gb data for $22. any better options than this?
Best Unlimited calls + 5GB (approx) data month to month plan. Not pre paid

Same as above. Go for the kogan deals that give you 365 day prepaid. Over 10gb, unlimited calls and text. Which only equals to around $13 a month.
The main companies that supply month to month are to expensive and you get nothing for it.
Always assumed pre paid means i have to top up myself every 30 days and i cant really be bothered with the hassle. Optus or optus resellers is my preference. Not heard of the 365 day deals. its for business so just dont want any hassles with service or topping up, etc.
When I was with lebara I had month to month pre paid. You can select automatic payment which debits your card every month.
If you do a 365 day you really don’t have to worry about recharging. It just resets every 30 days. All calls and texts in Aus are included. The only thing that changes is the data.
Kogan has some deals on at the moment until the end of Jan.

Kogan is the best with the only downside being only able to prepay one year and no international calls otherwise it is the best bang for buck besides those $2.50 / month Amaysim 2.5gb deals.
You can get 90 day plans from Kogan. The discounts aren't as great, in terms of the best value you'll need to buy 365 day plans.
20GB Large 90 Day Plan $68.70
40GB Extra Large 90 Day Plan $95.70What is best if you want to prepay more than 1 year?
network preference? Must it be Optus?
why the aversion to prepaid - there are some good 365 days prepaid deals around as an example.
