Feature Request: "PC" Game Isn't Enough Info

Hola,

Can we get deal posters prompted for more detail, please?

I think it's a simple feature that would bring better discussion, such as promoting Launchers, instead of religious biffo over Steam profit% vs having many crap services installed for a few cheap games etc

Most PC gamers only run Steam. First & last detail they need to know is if the game/deal will work there.

Ignoring that, it'd be helpful to know… Weigh up the decision, based on the service overall.

    What about games that use steam to launch but also require another launcher and a 3rd party account to run like ubisoft games ?

      Possibly, but for me… Background software has no effect. It's just people's opinion/ethics on DRM, I believe.

    You will not play a game if it isn’t on steam?
    Sounds quite religious in itself.

    Are you prepared to play DRM free, or is that also taboo?

      I tried to write it as neutral as possible, to avoid this. I have no agenda, sway, ill will in any direction. Preferences aren't a crime.

      I could write a lot about it. But it's as simple as the OP…

      Many/most like any collection simple & in one place. Regardless, it's important (at least IMHO) to know what's required to use your purchase.

    Yes I vote for more product tags.

    Off the top of my head I propose.

    Origin Game
    Steam Game
    Uplay Game
    Epic Games Game
    GOG Game
    Discord Game
    Battlenet Game or Blizzard Game

    I am pretty sure some of these already exist though but honestly main big ones are Origin, Steam, GOG and Uplay.

    All the rest are kind of here and there.

    I mean there are deals on Desura and etc other platforms but I don't think any users even go there or know about its existence.

    Then there is itch.io and its new off brands.

    I would personally like some graphic card specific tags or some way to search for specific graphics cards and their history price list from various deals now that would be interesting to find and see.

    The few times I've posted gaming deals I've always included if it's Steam, DRM-Free, GOG etc. The times I haven't there has been a mod or power user to add it back in.
