Be aware you can't take this on a plane due to its power capacity exceeding 100Wh

    • I don't think anyone weeks read the specs on your way into the plain

  • Standard ebay price

  • Solar panel on that looks tiny, would it even be able to charge a 30000mah battery? Could be it's 3000 …..

  • +1

How do the cells like being under the hot sun all day to charge?

  • You know you're getting good quality when they have to exaggerate the specs that much to be able to sell them!

I own one of these - And I must say, got me through whilst staying on a fairly remote Fijian island with limited (solar) power options.

I was using it to charge my iPhone, iPad etc. (individually)

And the embedded LED light is excellent…

I also had a Waka Waka Solar Battery/light - Used them both equally.

    • How did you bring it on board planes ?
As they are limited to 26800mAh nowadays.

      • +4

Just tell them its china spec. True capacity will be less than half

      • Do they ever check the power bank sizes?
Can they tell when it goes through the X-ray?

        • Some airports limit to 20000 mAh. Ymmv.

      • Was never asked to be honest, either in AU or Fiji.
And I only had carry on,,

    Pile of shite, RUN AWAY!

  • how long does it take to charge up the 30k by solar?

    • Prob a couple days lol

I’ve got a 5000mAh unit similar to this with a solar panel. I used it up just to test it to see how long the solar sector would take to charge the battery… it’s been sitting in direct sunlight for over a year and it’s only at 50%…

I’m convinced that the solar panel is only on there to power the “charging leds”

  • Reviews for it on amazon are pretty consistently horrible.

    • +2

      Yeah, but… $23 bucks!

      • +1

Other powerbanks are the same price without these issues.

  • Going by the size of the phones next to it, this is probably a 5000-8000mah pack. 10000 if your very lucky.

  • Voted + but is this actually safe considering our sun shine especially during summer are pretty strong and good source of heating…?

  • Heat kills batteries and causes them to discharge, yet this device is supposed to sit in the sun and charge?
Good luck leaving this in the car without coming back to a smashed window.
