The previous games are on Gamepass and you can normally get a month for $1 if you haven't had it before.

Just finished playing through Gears 3 for the first time myself. It's not as pretty as 4 but I enjoyed it more. It's actually a fantastic game and still looks great especially at 4k.
GoW 4 is also available on gamepass though (at least looking on my PC in the Microsoft Store app).
Anyway, with it raining and being on holidays, this will probably be the best dollar I've spent in a while, thanks for the heads up!

I bought Gears of War 4 (physical copy) that included download keys for GoW, GoW 2, GoW 3, GoW Judgement - so 5 games in total. I got it off eBay yesterday for $22. The seller has 2 copies left :)
I have 2 kids under 4. I’m not sure I have the time to go through all of those games. It is a good deal though. Prefer to go to the shiniest, best and latest.
I agree, I've got a 3 year old and have no idea how I'm going to get through them all. Apparently GoW 4 is the starting point for a new story, so no biggie if you don't get to play the previous ones.
Got 2 kids under 18 months and yeah it’s nuts to find time for gaming unless you work part time or can sleep late from time to time without (and then cop it later by your wifey). Wouldn’t hesitate to drop games for my boys though.
A few at Whirlpool forum commented that downloading the PC game from Microsoft Store is a pain-in-the-neck experience.
Is it? You just press the windows key and type "store", then click the "…" in the top right corner, and smash the "Redeem a code" button. What other complications apart from some unfamiliarity could there be?
A few years ago when I bought some games from the Microsoft Store, the downloads would randomly halt and fail and you would need to re-download the entire game again. When I bought Gears of War 4 last year, this happened to me twice at around 70% completion - since the game was about 130GB it was definitely a bit of a pain in the butt.
Yep I had similar problems on release. It's pretty embarrassing that MS just can't get this stuff right.

My problem with Gears of War 4 on Windows 10 was something got corrupted despite playing the game regularly and keeping it updated.
Unlike Steam where you can patch the corrupted file with a few simple clicks, I was forced to redownload over 110GB to fix the file.
130GB? With my ADSL I can only download about 4 GB/hour. That's over a day non-stop to download :( Why is the game so large? Are they using 8K textures or something?
You haven't downloaded any games or read reviews from MS store obviously…
I've downloaded a few large ones recently: Dead Rising 4, Forza 7, Gears 4… can't say I noticed the issues, guess I was lucky.
@King Steuart: It is possible that they had fixed the issues (I've only tried Gears and a Forza version, can't remember which one) and Gears was an absolute mare to install.
I guess I just expected a higher standard from MS given they produce the OS as well, particularly when other launchers seem to be fine (Uplay, Origin, Epic)
@Wally Simmonds: I've had issues with other launchers. Uplay (now Ubisoft Club) was horrible at launch, and I still have to open the Bethesda launcher as an administrator otherwise it lags and ESO won't load.
The Windows Store is just a hopeless pile of rubbish generally speaking.
Haven't noticed a single issue when downloading Forza H4 and M7.

just visit allkeysshop.com its a list of cheapest keys on different web sites most of them are similar in price..worth a look if you want a more reputable source.
I have never had a problem with CD keys. Sometimes the keys are scanned from barcodes and require manual tying rather than copy & paste, but 1 minute's hassle with worthwhile to save $10 or more.
Hitman 2 is a great game assuming you like the Hitman series.
It has all the main missions from the last game included along with the continuing story of the sequel. They're no longer using episodes.

Just bought one and code came pretty much instantly. Only thing I don't like is how CDKeys.com required a mobile number to verify myself before the game code appears. Redeemed in Microsoft Store and game is now ready to be downloaded to play on my PC. I don't have an XboxOne so very happy I can play this on PC. Loved the previous GoW games. It was the reason I bought an Xbox back in 2006.
Just finished downloading the game and it installed itself fine. Didn't seem to have any problems with the known 'download loop' that many online have complained about.
