It's 298 at Jb today, so wipe out the drive to Costco and the annual fee it's not really a bargain, besides reckon my locat JB would price match for 10 bucks in my pocket.

I don't have a membership. I've also dealt with JB warranty before and it's a very solid straight forward process. How does Costco handle warranties any better? I've never had to claim anything before.

I had a dud I purchased on ebay that I needed PayPal to help. These watches have known to have had many issues, charging seems to be common too.

No argument on the membership already paid, not sure on warranty handling though feel that's a stretch. Either way not a bargain since I can match and save on petrol wear and tear on car to drive to Costco vs jb.
You can return instantly. For a watch with not so uncommon problems I'd be wanting to take that up.
I returned my 3yr 8mth old PS4 to Costco after the fan started clicking. They asked me to fill out a simple 2 or 3 line form as to why I'm returning. That's well past manufacturers warranty. JB Hi Fi/Hardly Normal/Good Guys wouldn't have touched it, has I purchased from them.

A shame that it doesn't have LTE as well. I can't figure out the point of a smart watch if you just need to carry your phone everywhere anyway. I suppose accessorising is one reason but you may as well just get a traditional watch then.
