Tap water less than a cent and you do a good thing for environments and don't pass your money to scammers

      Scammers?
      Who are the scammers?
What conspiracy videos have you been watching/what have you been smoking?

      • -1

Selling staff which is freely available from tap is scam
Selling free staff in plastic battles is crime against the planet
Those spring water deals must be banned

Feel free to post a better deal at last. You don't need to wait another 22 months.

What’s the staff got to do with this deal.

        • I'd buy a plastic bottle that came with a free staff :-)

      True.

      But the price of
      - convenience: 5c
      - confirmed sterilised: 5c
      - guaranteed availability: 5c
      - portability: 5c

Means I'd value each bottle at 20c each. That means at 16.8c per bottle it's good value, to me.

We had a mains burst (again) on Boxing day. Tap water is all fine until it's no longer there.

I rarely buy bottled water as I think it's daft to pay such a price unless there's no alternative, but there's no need to come across as such a sanctimonious twat.

    • Yep ban water in a bottle, it’s a scam, they are saving on the sugar and drugs that we find in the true bottled beverages. Out with Water in with Cola!

    • I've had an E.Coli infection, twice, from drinking tap water over the years (north-west Sydney).

I only stick to bottle water now and don't have issues. There's no need to be an ass to people that actually use bottled water.

    LMAO
Spring water has many more case of contamination than tap. Just Google to check

  • +3

Works out to 16c per bottle.
If only this was in SA/NT/NSW, it'd come down to 6c with the 10c return&earn.

    • And QLD now!

      • whoa!

  • -3

Free from a tap. Plastic bottles last in the environment forever.

    • +4

Water is not free from a tap

    • My water bill says otherwise.

    • +1

You had better be posting that from your local library otherwise keep in mind your computer/phone is also polluting the environment

Excellent price OP. Currently Coles NSW offer their brand water at 24 X 600ml for $8.40 … and 24 X 350ml for $8.40!

Welcome to Australia, where a disproportionate percentage of the populace actually pay for bottled water when tap water is perfectly safe to drink.Worst offenders are Yoga/Gym attendees and those who can't sit through a movie at the cinema without litres of the stuff…and more plastic bottles in our waterways that never degrade.
